How big is your ten month old? or how big were they at ten months?

My daughter is (almost) ten months and weighs 18lbs, 1oz and is 27 1/2" tall. She is scheduled for a weight check in a few weeks. She is breastfed and will eat some solids, but mostly nurses on demand. I'm not extremely concerned, but she's still wearing 6-9 month clothes, and usually she's in the clothing size for her age range by now.

How big is or was your child at ten months? I'm hoping the variants in size will comfort my concerns.

All three of my kids have been big. My youngest was 14 pounds 11 ounces at 2 months... lol. My sister has a 5 year old that weighs as much as my almost 3 year old did at 2. All the kids are healthy, just different sizes.

I don't remember the exact weight but I can tell you that my twins weren't 18 lbs at 10 months. Kids come in all shapes and sizes, so try not to compare. I had to learn to accept that because I have tiny kids. Like, barely on the growth chart tiny. As long as she's meeting milestones and healthy, she's fine.

I don't remember how big any of them were at 10 months, but 18 pounds is a fine size. Some kids are bigger, some are smaller, but as long as she is continuing to grow and thrive.... her exact size doesn't mean anything. :)

None of my nephews were even 18 pounds at a year. My oldest was around 18 pounds at a year and I think my youngest was around 20 pounds at 9 months....
