On the weekends and any other time my baby is with me I nurse solely. I pump at work tice a day but am only getting an ounce or two. My 4 month old seems satisfies when I nurse but how do I get my pumping supply up. I owould liike to save some but don't pump enough to save.

I have been drinking "Healthy Nursing Tea" 3 to 4 times a day and within a couple of days, I noticed a great difference in my breast milk production.

I study herbs and the newest finding say to use blessed thistle, marshmallow (herb) and fennel. Use as a tea, tincture or capsules. Fennel tea is good. Add fennel to soups. Use the seeds or bulb to eat. Marshmallow comes in capsules or tinctures as does the blessed thistle. Take according to the bottle and increase as needed. All 3 enrich the milk and make it more plentiful. The fennel also helps with gas and colic...and the marshmallow will help baby sleep at night. I am a student midwife and lactation consultant.
