how do you know when your milk's dried up?

I weaned my son a week ago, and I was just wondering how do you know when your milk is all dried up without expressing to see if anything comes out? Because wouldn't that just tell your body to make more? I never got engorged or anything after I stopped either.

My milk took about two weeks to completely dry up. I'm pretty sure it's completely dried up now but yeah expressing would just tell your body to produce more like you said. You could squeeze it a little a few times to see if any comes out. But I have stopped leaking and it's been about two weeks.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.
