Hello all, How are you arking your bottles of fresh milk? I want to make sure the oldest milk is used first before it goes bad. Currently, I put the date on them using return address lables dated the day I expressed the milk. This will eventually get costly- buying all the lables and sometimes the date wipes off. How are you all handeling this?

I have the bags but I try to use them only when freezng milk to save money. Masking tape would be better than what I am using. Thanks! I knew there were moms smarter than me out there :)

Oh - on bottles, I used masking tape - just get a big role and use a permanent marker on it.

I used Medula bags for expressed milk - I would mark right on the bag the date expressed - the Medula bags have amounts on the bag so you can tell how much is there. You can also freeze them if your express milk exceeds the daily needs.
