All babys are different. Its ok for her to be sleeping through from this age, as long as she is getting plenty of food during the day and gaining weight. My youngest was feeding about 4 hourly from the day we bought her home and then started sleeping through from about 4 weeks. Weather plays a part too.

Hi Shannon, mine baby girl is the same age. Last night she slept for 9 straight hours. However, as a consequenc,e she has nursed more frequently today. It really varies day to day with her.

Keep in mind that every baby is different, too. My daughter started out eating about every three hours (kind of dictated by me) and then went about every two hours both day and night for about two months. Then recently, she goes anywhere from 2-6 hours during the day without nursing, and usually between 8-11 hours. So as long as your baby is growing and you watch her cues, there really isn't a "normal" time.

my 5.5 has always gone about 3 hours between feedings. She's done up to 8 hours at night though.

It depends on how old your baby is. My doc said that a baby can go up to 6 hours with out eating, but for the first month its normal to go about 3 hours between feeds.
