Dawn dish soap (original Blue color)  It gets the grease out, and I found that baby poop always left a greasy residue, but Dawn always got the stain out.  I bought a small bottle and have it sitting on a shelf above my daughter hamper,  When there is a stain of any sort, I put some Dawn on it right away then toss it in the hamper!  Some stains I scrub before I wash them.  But Dawn has worked on set in grease stains I have had on my clothes.  I'm even taking some on vacation with me next week just incase I spill something!  Love it!  And it's cheap and lasts forever!  Good luck.

Oxyclean never really worked for me, I used the baby oxyclean spray as well as normal powder....I also found that if you accidentally soak an item in the powder & water too long, the stain still stays but it takes the color out of screen print....lol!

I found an all natural stain remover stick at a great store called "Once Upon a Child" It gets everything out, poop stains and more....new and even old!

I just use the Costco brand environmentally friendly detergent and all of the stains have come out of his clothes. If it is really bad, I will soak it in warm water first. But I rinse the clothes as soon as it happens and they usually go right into the washing machine.

I tried Resolve with Shout pretreat and it does NOT work. I sprayed the clothing immediately when I change him and then thow them in his hamper. I even handwash the bad ones before spraying with the pretreat. Dont bother using the Resolve it doesnt work!

EDIT: I just read using hot water sets the stain, so maybe it is user error on my part. I will try using cold water and let you know next time I do wash ( about a week)

I use cloth diapers and EBF, and for poop stains I use the same routine with my CD'd.

Cold water rinse, then wash with (I use 1/4 detergent) in warm or hot water, hang to dry any stained clothes/diapers in the sun and when I get home from work, the stains are all gone!

Wish I had have known that with baby #1, he projectile pooped on one of my favorite shirts and I threw it away!

I use a non-toxic, all natural product from Shaklee called Nature Bright Laundry Booster and Stain Remover. It is more powerful than Oxi-Clean, and it is safe for your baby, guaranteed. If you want to order it, go to www.shaklee.net/caranitz

I rinse what I can out with warm water, then spray Shout on the stain let it set for awhile, then rinse before putting it in the wash. I've never had a stain that wouldn't come out.

you have to be careful what u put on the clothes because a babies skin is so scensitive......i just kept a bucket in my shower or by the washing machine...and everytime one of the peices would get soiled i would throw it in the bucket to soak with woolite.......then after a day or two ...depended how many i had that day i would wash them ......worked great......u just have to try not to let it dry on too much

Oxyclean was the only thing that ever worked for me. It doesn't matter if you use the powder or the spray, they both work about the same.
