How to increase supply

I have a two year old and a four month old. I tried to breastfeed my first but dried up after two months. Well I'm going on 4 1/2 months my second but my milk supply is slowly going away. I'm proud of myself for making it this far but my goal is at least a year. I have tried Fenugreek, Mother milk tea, oatmeal, lactation cookies, skin to skin, and pumping. Any suggestions? I'm sure lack of sleep, work, and having two small children play a factor but not much I can do about those...

I have been drinking Healthy nursing tea which helped me increasing sufficient amount of breast milk.

I have 3 kids 9,8,and 11months. I am still breastfeeding. I increased my milk supply by drinking more fluid and pumping every two hours even if I wasn't nursing. Your supply naturally adjust to your babies needs. So, if you are pumping more your body will compensate. eventually it will even out.

Hi Jessica,
I pumped for my 2 kids for the 1st year while working. With the first, I lost some supply and now I know why. With my second, I have been diligent in pumping at the same time everyday. By doing this, my body knows what to expect. Also, when you pump, try to let the pump hang out on the boob even after the milk stops coming out. This ca help increase production (but you will have to do this for several days at the same time).

Best of luck and congrats on making it this far!
