I am wondering how much breast milk is normal to produce. I am only getting about an ounce an hour. I pump and breast feed. Is there something I can do to enhance my milk supply? Thanks!

I had low milk supply since the birth my baby with c-section. I tried hard to put my baby on formula but he didn't agree to take bottle. After researching a lot on the net I found Healthy nursing tea and decided to try the product.it worked wonder and stimulated my breast milk production.

depends on how old your baby is too. but with one of my children..my production slowed down even though she was still nursing the same amount and I hadn't changed my diet. The Dr. told me to start taking Fenugreek and Blessed thistle together and within a week, I was able to notice a drastic increase. You can buy these herbs at a health food store usually, but don't buy them from places like GNC or WalMart b/c they are lab made and not natural. Also, you can read more about those herbs and find the most excellent nursing help by going to drjacknewman.com His website helped me so much with my first child. Hope it all works out....hang in there..it's worth it! :)
If you are judging how much milk you are making by how much is coming out of the pump, then you are judging wrong. You have to train your body to produce milk for the pump. When I began pumping I'd get a few drops after 20 minutes. After time my body learned to let down to the pump and I could get 10oz in a sitting. It took WEEKS to get to that point.
Your baby looks older in your picture. If she is happy and had lots of wet diapers and is gaining weight you are making plenty of milk.
