my right breast dried up and my left one is so engorged how do i get it to dry up?? i switched her already to formula but i can't pump for some reason my breast won't leak when it comes to pumping but its so engorged please help!!

Cold compress will help with the pain. A warm compress or warm shower (just let the water run over that breast) might help get the milk flowing, and if you have a plugged duct or mastitis you'll need to do that.
Have you tried hand expressing? It's not very hard to learn, and you'll only want to express enough to be comfortable again, not so much that you drain the breast.

This sounds like mastitus which needs to be treated. See your doctor and he will give you some tablets to help. In the mean time buy a green vainy cabbage and place it in the fridge. When cold place a leaf inside your bra. I know it sounds nuts but it works!
