im a breast-feeding mom and my daughter (5 months) only poops once a week, plus she eat cereal and still only poops once a week!

Was she doing this before the cereal? What's the consistency of the poop? If it's pellets and if it's been a recent issue, I'd see about cutting out the cereal as cereal can be constipating for some babies.

Some breastfed babies only poop once a week. It's not the frequency of the poop that matters, but the quality/consistency of the poop. Cereal can (not necessarily will though) also constipate babies.
