My daughter is almost 4 months old & I tried breastfeeding but the nurses weren't much help & my husband had to leave for work out of town 3 days after she was born so I gave up breastfeeding & now I'm very disappointed in myself for not sticking with it & formula is expensive & who knows what's in it, I want to start breastfeeding again, even if I only get to pump & give it to her in a bottle. Is this possible & how do I do it?

I would also contact your closest La Leche League Leader. They are available 24/7 for free. They also have meetings once or twice a month that you can attend. Here's the page to find a local group:

When my son was in the bifurcates for a week I was so stressed my son wouldn't latch and my nutrition was faltering so I gave up. My son was allergic to his formula and is now on special formula that he hates. He is almost 3 months old and I want to start breastfeeding again. How can I go about doing this? I need all the help I can get.

Good I'm glad! Bf is a wonderful gift, I enjoy every close second I can get to bond with my daughter. It going to be heartbreaking when she weansherself :( I completely support and respect your decision 100% this shows that you are a very devoted mommy and that's so beautiful!! There isn't an exact timeline. They said if you had a well established milk supply before you "dried up" than you will most likely relactate quicker than if you didn't have a established milk supply. It most likely depends on how well you baby latches and how often you nurse (feed,comfort nurse ect.) it's mostly up to the individuals situation because every situation with each nursing team if very unique.

Yes it's safe to bf if you have an iud and while taking the mini pill. :)

Yes it's possible! Here is a website that has information on the subject. And if your baby is 4 months or younger you have a better chance at relactating.

If you have anymore question ask away! My daughter is now 8 months and it was really hard the first 8 weeks and circleofmoms and the CLC at the hospital I was at helped me get through it. You can do it if your determined and I was incredibly determined to stick with it I know you can do it :)
