My daughter will be 8 months next week and im just wondering if she could be sleeping too much. Her schedule is:

715am Wake up & nurse
8-815am Breakfast (Oatmeal & fruit)
930am Nap (Hour & a half)
11am Nurse
12pm Lunch (Fruit or vegetable)
1245pm Nap (Hour - Hour & a half)
2pm Nurse
415pm Nap (30-45 minutes)
5pm Nurse
6pm Dinner (Cereal & vegetable)
7pm Bath
715pm Books
730 Bedtime

95% of the time she sleeps straight through the night but occasionally she does wake up around 1-2am to sleep nurse then goes back to sleep in her crib. I may be over-thinking things but could she sleeping too much?

Is she alert and active when she is awake? Is she growing and reaching milestones?

If so, then it doesn't really matter if she is or is not 'sleeping too much'. Different kids have different sleep needs. My oldest needed 12 hours a night (no nap) or more every night (or it was not fun at ALL) from 2.5-6 years of age. My youngest has been getting 11 hours a night since 3.5 years old and only super rarely takes a nap or sleeps longer at night and is good with that amount.

Your daughter does sound like she may need a slightly higher than average amount of sleep, but if she's growing, thriving, alert while awake, and meeting milestones.... she is FINE.
