Sounds odd, but my breasts have been itching HORRIBLY the last week or so. I've had thrush and a yeast infection in the ducts recently but we've cleared that up - and there's no pain associated with this itching so I don't think it's a recurrence of that. I haven't switched laundry detergent and there's no visible rash or dryness. Anyone else have any experience with this and/or suggestions to make it better? It's driving me nuts! Thanks!

Yes, I do wear breast pads and in fact, now that you mention it...the itchiness started shortly after I switched to the Lanisoh (?) brand which are larger and cover the whole breast.  I bet that's it!  Thank you all very much!!!!

Do you wear breast pads? Like the ones you use for when you leak milk? I found that the *Playtex brand of breast pad works the best as far as itchiness goes. Other brands made the itchiness worse! Good luck!

Is it the entire breast itchy or just the nipple? I notice itchiness when I leak & stay moist in a bra w/ out my breast pads. If I stay dry, no problem ...

I had similar itching when my 6mo old was about 2-3 mos. - I'm not sure what caused it but it went away!  Sorry... that's not much help!
