losing breast milk, what can i do?

Stella i being breastfed but sometimes i notice she is fussing and fighting with the nipple. am not noticing as much milk as before. is there anything that i can do to increase my milk production?

How old is your baby? Babies go through phases of being fussy/distracted at the breast. This does not necessarily mean you have supply issues. Does your baby have plenty of wet diapers? Is she gaining weight? These are indicators of supply issues. The best way to increase your supply is to put baby to the breast whenever they want (feed on demand). It's normal to not feel as full when your supply starts to regulate. This usually happens around 3 months, but it's different for everyone.

I usually notice one off reductions like this when I haven't had adequate amounts to eat and drink... maybe think back to your intake that day? Drinking plenty of water and snacking a little between meals? That's what helps me!
