Hi, i am exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old i have not had a period yet but for the past 2 weeks i have been getting menstral cramping on and off. has anyone experienced this is it normal? i have been expecting it to return it feels like its coming back but nothing ..

i exclusively breastfed my daughter until she was nine or ten months when she started eating some solids (still loads of breastmilk at 14 months) and mine didn't return until eleven months post-partum. occasional cramping that is mild is probably normal.. if it's severe, constant and or consistently sharp you should probably check with your gynocologist. my guess is it's normal though and don't be surprised if your little friend doesn't return for quite awhile.
