I am desperately looking for a source for breast milk as my grandson who was a preemie and is now nine months old, weighing 12 lb. now, 3 lb. at birth, is not gaining weight as he should. His Mom is breast feeding and is enriching her breast milk with 1-2 scoops of formula per doctor's instructions, but he will not take formula as he checks with the first suck of a bottle and then clamps his mouth shut if it is not breast milk. She recently returned to work and pumps her milk so he gets as much as she has but I know he needs at least one more feeding than he is getting. Does anyone know of a source to get breast milk and btw, just wondered if everyone's breast milk tastes similar. I breastfed all six of my children but never had this problem. Her other child slept in bed with her (still does at 2 1/2 years old) so he got to suckle whenever needed but he wasn't a preemie and doc says you really have to sometimes remind preemies to eat. This baby does not sleep with her as it gets crowded in there but am really urgently needing help or suggestions. Btw, her name is Eileen Hill and she is a member of this and you can post directly to her if you want. Thanks again and look forward to any help I can get. Julie Hill, Grammy.
