Mom's diet and baby's bowel movements?

My son is 3 months old now and he usually has more than enough bowel movements, but the past couple days he hasn't been going as often. Yesterday he acted like his belly hurt and then after he finally pooped for the second time he was happy again. His poop is still runny like they say bf babies have, but he sometimes still seems like he can't go. Is there something I am not eating, or something that I am eating that could be affecting him? I haven't really changed my diet during the 3 months, but maybe it is something I am not realizing I am doing? Any suggestions?

Thanks....I use gas drops...do you give your child VD supplements since you bf? I think that may be what is doing it cuz I sometimes forget to give them to him and the past two days I have and he has had trouble go poop.

Sometimes to much iron in your diet can cause constiaption in the baby, make sure you drink lots of water and maybe cut back iron supplements, vitmins and/or red meat. Also gas drops seem to help ease the pain of constipation in an infant.
