Does anyone know of any mosquitoe repellant that is safe for babies? I have been using the new OFF fan but last week my 8 month old daughter was bitten 5 times in one day. I know the OFF fan unit had enough repellant in it and it had not run out - but apparentely it lost its effectiveness. I'm ticked off becauseof her getting bitten but I don't want to put any harsh chemicals on her skin either. Please help!

California Baby makes a natural insect repellant, works awesome. Full of organic prod. Located at Target and Babys R Us. No chemicals which is great!

look for a tea tree based repellant - it is safe to use on babies skin and clothes to ward off the nasties. you should be able to find some at a pharmacy of health shop.

I have found that drier sheets work great for my four month old daugher. I tuck several sheets around her while she is sitting outside in her bouncy seat or in the sling if we are going for a walk. No bites yet. You could probably even tuck a few in the waistband of her pants since she is more mobile. I hope this works for you too!
