Healthy nursing tea worked great! Doubled my milk supply! The only downside is it does not taste the best, but it’s do-able. You do have to drink at least 3 cups of it per day to keep the supply up, but it has been a life saver for my daughter!

Yeah the taste really gets me it is so gross. I don't like tea to begin with so it's really hard for me.

I am on Nursing Mothers Tea and have found it has helped,  but I am also taking The Fenugreek Capsules!!

I drink the tea all day right through the evening though, with lots of water in between!  As other mothers have mentioned about the taste, it is all true, it's not the best tasting stuff out there! When I make it I boil the water with the tea bag in it, as well as an orange pekoe bag so it almost totally takes on that flavor! I assume any other tea would do the same, especially a fruity flavored one maybe!?!

And I would suggest if you like honey to stock up!!! lol

I've never tried it but I've talked to other moms who couldn't get past the taste or who is was only marginally helpful. www.kellymom.com has a nice listing of some of the various supplements you can try to support/up milk production (my magic combo was real oatmeal, fenugreek & blessed thistle)

I drank it when I first got my period when Jake was about 5 months old and it worked for me.  I would brew a pot using a couple of tea bags.  I don't like licorice flavor too much, so I had to cover it with the lemon and honey.  I still drink it now and then.

I didn't drink it often enough to really know if it truly worked. I guess since I wasn't lacking in milk I wouldn't see a difference...? There is a new protein out now to help with milk production too. My sister-in-law is using it I believe.
