my daughter is hungry all the time nurses every 2-3 hours she gets rice cereal at night but i dont want to give her any more or baby food yet any ideas she is 19 lbs and hungry!

I agree with Lori. This is normal behavior. Breast milk is easily digested. Nurse on cue to keep a good supply especially during growth spurts. My second daughter was just about that big at 4 months, but didn't start solids until 6.5 months when she was able to sit unsupported and interested and she only eats every now and then and it's not much. Trust your body. It has the perfect food for her.

don't worry, my baby is four months old 17 lbs and nurses about every two hours during the day, but she goes 4-8 hours at night. We don't do cereal yet, I am waiting to start that till she can sit up by herself. Hope that was encouraging.

2 -3 hours sounds normal to me. More often if she's going through a growth spurt. And she doesn't need cereal yet. That is actually lower in calories than your milk. At 4 1/2 months she should still be nursed on demand. If she's hungry, feed her. Try to make sure she is fully emptying one side before offering the other side. If she doesn't empty one side, then start with that side for the next feeding. That way she gets the hind milk which helps keep a baby full longer.
Does she have one longer stretch between feedings? Maybe 4 hours or more at night? If so, I'd say you're doing great, and just keep nursing your baby when she wants to eat.
