My 7m old has separation anxiety.Alls he does is cry.Any ideas how deal with it?

My 7m old has Separation Anxiety.I need to find a way where it's easier on his dad to care for him while I'm at work 2 days out of the week.We both have no family here cause he's in the Milatary.I NEED HELP...

Also don't try and sneak out. That makes it worse because then he's constantly afraid that you'll just disappear. Make sure you say good bye and he's knows you are leaving but coming back.

My first went through the same thing around that age, it's normal. Is it just bad when you leave or the whole time you are gone?? When you leave you need to do it cleanly and quickly. A hug and a kiss and a goodbye and then leave. Don't draw it out, don't let your LO see you upset. Have his dad ready with a fun activity. It might also help to remind him that mommy will be back, she always comes back. He will adjust, this is a normal phase of develoopment. Soon he will start prefering his dad and not wanting anything to do with you, my first went through that phase at about 18 months, it broke my heart. Enjoy his love now! :-)
