My breast fed baby gets too much air around the nipple of every bottle I use.

My baby has been given only breast milk, but since she was 3 weeks old I have started giving her pumped milk in a bottle whenever I have to be away or am out with her in public. She hasn't rejected any bottle I have given her, but I've noticed and so have others who have fed her that she has trouble latching on to bottles and so she gets in a lot of air through the corners of her mouth because her latch is always breaking. She spits up badly bc she has reflux as well and we are having trouble getting her to gain weight so it is especially important to keep as much milk in her as possible. The spitting up is much less significant when I am able to nurse her. I have only given her bottles with a wide base nipple as that is what I've always heard was best for breast fed babies. I've given her Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles, Avent, Nuk and Playtex Nursers. She has difficulty latching onto all of these nipples. Any advice?????

Do you burp her halfway through the bottle? When I pump I get 3 oz per breast, I burp my son after the first 3 oz and then let him finish the bottle. My son doesn't drain both breasts, so he doesn't actually eat 6 oz, is it possible she's getting more out of the bottle than she does when she nurses from you?
