i have a stuffy nose bec. of allergies or a cold or whatever...i know i can't take anything oraly to help w/the congestion bec. it'll dry up my milk supply...but i wonder if nasal spray is ok...or will that enter into my bloodstream and cause the same thing??

You may want to try Fenugreek tea. It helps not only to increase your milk supply, but also acts as a natural decongestant. I used it to help soothe a sore throat too. It really helped me.

i did look up some info. about sprays and it said to "monitor for milk supply decrease" so i decided to just suck it up and stay w/saline...can almost breathe again...so i've made it over the hump and am no longer desperate for air :o) thanks for your input!!!!

I's go with the saline as well, thats what they told me to use while I was sick. But if it's really bad check with a pharamcist. Never hurts to ask :)

saline nasal spray is okay, i'm not sure about a medicated one? ask a pharmasist?
