Hi, when my 3 month old breastfeeds i get nausea and i was wondering if anyone else gets this and if its normal. im a first time breastfeeder. It has only started in the last month. It seems worse when ive just had something to eat and when it happens i cant even stomach a glass of water.

I don't know why it would just now start to effect you, but the oxytocin rush that causes you to let down can cause bouts of nausea at that time, and that is normal. I sometimes get a little nauseated or even feel like I'm going to have a panic attack because an oxytocin rush feels similar to an adrenaline rush! Hope it passes!
