nipple is not healing

ladies, my baby is 2 months old already, however one of my nipples is not healing. the baby took the skin off it at the beginning and now it is still red and is not covered with new skin. anybody has experience with this? any advice? my ob suggested hydrocortizone (didn't help), my general practitioner gave me antibiotics (didn't help), dermatologist gave me antiobiotic ointment wih cortizone (dried the wound but didn't heal it).
i would appreciate any advice. thank you

my mid wives with all three children recommended i rub my breast milk on to my sore nipples before and inbetween feeds it actually worked after a few days of doing it

Yes, my nipples were very sore with my youngest. I would cover them with lanolin, a lot! That stuff saved my nipples with my two sons. Also, the "soothies" that are gel pads you put on your nipples helped a lot.
