I have cotton nursing pads. I have to use two! AND my nipples stick to them. Ouch! And cotton fuzz goes in my baby's mouth.
Any suggestions? I was thinking wool...

I agree with Jennifers post. Laundry detergents build up. Also if they are new that could explain the 'fuzzing'. All of mine were hand-me-down from my sister and I didn't have that problem, but I did have the sticking problem, and when I would let my nipples dry before 'putting the boob up' they didn't stick as bad, and I changed them frequently, usually whenever I had a 'boob leak'.
If your baby is still really young then your body is still probably going thru it's regulation period and you can leak awhole more then. Some women's overflow dies down after a month or so, and some women have to keep wearing them. (Has nothing to do with your supply, just means your body knows how much to make and isn't making too much and overflowing OR you could be a super-producer. Good luck!

i have had the same issue and i'm wondering if it has to do with the way they are washed. regular detergents stick to fabric and build up will repel moisture, making any leaked milk to collect at the surface of the pad instead of being absorbed which would explain the stickiness...at least this is my theory. i'm going to try washing them the same way i wash my son's cloth diapers and see if that helps.
