Unfortuantely, when you start supplementing with formula, your body naturally decreases your supply. I would stop waiting so long in between pumping/feeding. The more you pump, the more you make. its a supply and demand thing. Also, try double pumping if you dont already. And the more you can breastfeed, the more stimualtion this gives your breasts.

Fenugreek from any vitamin store such as GNC) and Mother's milk tea (I buy it at target) will give you a quick boost, but take a day to pump extra to keep it going. My daughter was inefficient and I lost my supply with her easily, as she could not empty the breast. These things and pumping kept my supply going long enough tp get her to 10 months, when she self-weaned. (Although she would have weaned around 7 months if I let her).

Your output is actually pretty good. Average pump output is 1/2 to 2 oz. Make sure that your baby isn't getting too much from the bottle. Here's a nifty milk calculator:

Though, it sounds like your baby is getting nipple preference, that is, she's preferring the ease of the bottle. .Some info:

Yes, i pump while at work. Lately I have been going longer without pumping.. maybe 6 hours away from the pump and my daughter. I still breastfeed her when I am with her. She has as much formula as needed when away from me if the child care provider runs out of my milk. The past few days I have not been eating right.. or drinking right.. Just last night I went maybe 6 or more hours without breastfeeding or pumping. When i got home i noticed that i could only pump about 1/2 ounce!! Normally I can pump 4-8 oz at a time from both breasts all together!! I tried sleeping longer than usual to catch up on rest, eating a full breakfast and drinking so much that I keep peeing more than usual. I have attempted to breastfeed and pump several times this morning. My daughter seems not too interested and i dont know if its because she isnt getting enough?? I pumped and can only get 1/2 oz every hour.. :( i am so upset i feel like crying.. I dont know what to do, i just want my milk back!!

Did you stop breastfeeding when you went back to work? Can you tell us more about why you need to increase your supply? How much formula have you been giving your daughter and how long are you apart?
