I have been getting crazy pain in breast since I started 7 month old on solids. Any solutions? There are no lumps or red spots suggesting mastisis

Is it in both sides? In the same spot? Are you feeling engorged?
If it's not engorgement because he's eating solids rather than drinking your milk, I'm with Rebekah that a change in position might be in order.

Hmmm, maybe I'll try to change positions. He is more distracted now so perhaps it is a change in latch. It feels normal though....

Could it be from him/her latching improperly? Maybe now that he/she is bigger or more mobile he/she is not latching perfectly. I had some breast pain when my son was 5 months old and learning to sit up. I moved to a different chair/position for nursing and my weird breast pain went away.
