Does anyone's baby pinch them? My daughter is almost a year old and has been doing this for quite some time. She pinches my arms and my breasts when she nurses and when she is tired. My husband and I currently have bruises all over our arms. I am not sure how to get her to stop.

yes my son does the exact same thing!! he will grab a small piece of skin on the side eh is nursing on and rub his thumb and finger together how some baby's do with blankets!! haha its cute but im bruised :(

Check out Mommy Necklaces. They have lots of different styles of necklaces designed to keep baby busy while breast feeding. They have a break away closure and are tested non toxic.

My son also pinches me while he BF's and sometimes it hurts, like the other mom's have suggested I would try giving her a burp cloth or something to play with while she nurses, it should keep her occupied long enough. HTH

both my twins do this also. it is very annoying. i will sometimes give them something to hold on to while they're feeding like a small rattle or something just to keep their free hand occupied. :)

yes my son has been for a while too. he is 11 months, and I notice a few tiny cuts/scratches on my breasts sometimes. I dont really do anything about it, sometimes I let him squeeze my thumb, he usually reaches for it. or he'll pull on my shirt. maybe just try distracting her with something else to play around with while nursing, like a not so valuable necklace or something. good luck :)
