Since about the 6th month of pregnancy the pores of my face are white. It looks like tiny white heads. If I use any face wash it seems to irritate it. They can be squeezed empty but come back the next day...What do I do?

salicylic acid is not recommended to be used while pregnant. You need to avoid using this chemical on your skin.

neutrogena oil free foaming cleanser was gentle enough too- it really gets the olis off. but you have to be careful what you use. i did read something on one of the ingrediants that is bad for babies.

what you can do is use sensitive was face because remember your hormones are out of control....n extremely sensitive...

Try gently washing your face with just some warm water and Arm and Hammer baking soda- for me it was a gentle cleanser and helped with the oils- cleaned out my pores. My skin was terribly oily! Just use your hands, warm water and wet face- palmfull of powder and wash.

During parts of pregnancy, our bodies excrete more oils than usual. Use a facial scrub (the cleanser with the little beads in it that feels kinda rough) then use toner or astringent with salicylic acid in it and you can also get salicylic gels from clean and clear that last alot longer and absorb oils for hours. Should have a clear face within a few days. Just don't stop using it right away because they will come back.
