hi ladies i am still nursing my 13 month old son very frequently. about 4-6 a day. they are like 5 min max each time. and he sleeps through the night. (12 hrs) he also eats food and homo milk as well. i have not received my period yet so its hard to tell if im pregnant or fertile yet. i have been feeling crampy the past couple of days. nothung serious, i usually just shrug it off. also my husband asked i was pregnant the other night cause my belly os bigger at night then in the am. couple weeks ago i was sick but not puking. the other way for about 4 days and it wasnt every 10 min i was running to the bathroom it was just once maybe twice a day. not sure if that contributes to it all. any advice would be great thanks. :)

It is possible to get pregnant before you get your first period. Some women do ovulate before their period returns. BUT those symptoms could also be signs of your body gearing up to have your first period since the baby was born. I know I was concerned about being pregnant again too when I first got mine back.

Best thing to do.. take a home test. Do it first thing it the morning, as it's more likely to be accurate then. If it's negative, wait a week or two more and if you still don't have a period, then take another test. Are you still taking vitamins? My dr had me continue to take my prenatal vitamins while I was nursing my 1st. Now with my 2nd I'm just taking a normal multi vitamin.
