Hi Moms,
I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second but I have no symptoms at all, no sore breast and no nasuea like I had the first time around. I'm breastfeeding my 19 month old and have no pain at all. Is everything ok with me? maybe it will kick in later?

I felt absolutely no symptoms until I was 7.5 wks and no nausea at all throughout the whole pregnancy. Every single pregnancy is different. As long as your hormone levels are normal as per the blood results, you should be fine.

I think the worst thing you can do in this situation is go on a forum and ask other people's advice - my sister did this when she had no symptoms (or rather, I think her symptoms stopped) and all the comments of "yes, it could mean that you have miscarried", etc, made her really stress. The last thing you need is to hear about all the worst-case scenarios. I had no symptoms until about week 8, it's different for everyone. But the only way you can really be sure is to wait until you can have a scan.

I didn't get the nausea with my second & third pregnancies until much later. I never got sore boobs at all, only had that with my first & the period type cramps were less each pregnancy either. Take it easy but I know what it's like to be worried, go see your OB if you're at all concerned. Good luck & hope the joyous symptoms hold off for as long as possible!!

My first 4 pregnancies I was horribly sick even before I missed my period and was sick the entire pregnancy. My 5th pregnancy I was a week late but didn't think anything of it because I gave pcos and am often late and I too had no symptoms, it was my husband that made me take a test. That pregnancy was completely different and so nice

Thanks I was worried a little bit. I read somewhere that when you don't have morning sickness pregnancy is not well protected by your body, but I think that it is a major generalization. I dodn't have morning sickness with my first just mild nausea and everything was fine.

Every pregnancy is different your perfectly fine. Its okay not to have symptoms right now... maybe your body can cope with your second pregnancy better and is better prepared. Give it time....Good Luck!!!
