I just started drinking mothers milk tea and its the worst tasting stuff I have ever drank! Any tips to make it taste better? Also does it work good? How much should I drink I have been drinking it three times a day because the box said to drink it 3-5 times a day. I don't know if I can afford to drink it more than 3 times with it being over 5 bucks a box. How long did it take before it started to work?

oatmeal is a great supply booster for me! when it seemed like my supply was gettinglow, i used to eat it for breakfast each morning, and then i would normally have one of the snack bars in the afternoon too. it seemed to work w/in 48 hours for me!

sorry i can't help with mothers milk. i know many moms on here recommend it though!

Good luck!

Ok thanks I was hoping there was a way to get the tea cheaper. There are only a couple of places here to buy it and both places it cost at least 5.50 for sixteen bags. That can get really expensive but I would pay it for my daughter. Thanks again!

Ok, just google mother's milk tea and you should get some Amazon links. Looks like you can get 6 boxes for $25. That is cheaper, like getting a box for free. There was also a bottle of Fenugreek on there 180 capsules. There were a number of other sites, kinds too.

I put honey in it and lemon to help with the taste and did drink it at least 3 times a day. I saw an improvement within a few days.

Consider searching the net for sites that offer better deals. Since you say $5/box, I assume you are getting a box of tea bags. You can get containers of the tea mix, not in a tea bag. You just need to get one of those metal reusable tea "bags" from Target or something so you can brew the loose tea in that. It might save you some money.

Also, you might consider simply looking for fenugreek tablets. This too might prove more cost effective. Although the tea has other good stuff in it.

I'll see if I can find any good links for you too.

I've never heard of it, is to boost your milk production?
