My 5 month old has had a runny/stuffy nose for 2 weeks now and I'm wondering if there is anything other than a nasal aspirator and a humidifier that could help clear her up. She hasn't had any other symptoms and is exclusively breastfed.

I have also read somewhere that you can drop breastmilk in their nose instead of saline spray. Has anyone tried this? It certainly seems like the golden liquid!

No miracle cure that I know of either but we put some vinegar in the humidifier water and use Badger brand "winter wonder balm" to rub on chest and feet at bedtime which does seem to help, good luck!

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. If the mucus in her nose is thick it is ok to use a saline spray ("Little Noses" saline drops) then wait 1 min. and then use the aspirator. I haven't found anything that really works to clear up that stuff, I guess it just has to run it's course... If anyone else has a miracle cure, I am waiting to know too!
My sister-in-law swears by the homeopathic pills called "C plus Cold tablets", but the baby needs to be closer to 12 months and they have never really worked for my kids anyway... guess maybe it depends on why the runny nose!

If she has no other symptoms, it could be that your more miserable watching her nose run, than she actually feels.
