I exclusively breast feed my son who is almost 5 months old. He never uses a bottle or pacifier - but I would like to start introducing a sippy cup with water or breastmilk. Does anyone have an suggestions on how to start introducing one? He will hold onto one and chew it, but he doesn't realize that if he sucks, liquid comes out. Any suggestions???

try taking the stopper out and give him a few sips ( with you in control of the cup). He'll start to make the association that milk comes out of this thing !! thats what i did with my little guy, it seemed once he remembered drink comes out he started to suck, so I put the stopper back in and let him have at it.
I like the playtex, double handled weaning stages sippy cup. they are called snap and lock , or its on the packaging anyways, I got mine at walmart. they seemed to be his favorite so far.
