Hello breastfeeding moms! I count it a blessing to be able to breastfeed my little boy. What an amazing experience and well worth the effort to go through it with a preemie....and what a wonderful gift we can give our little ones:)

I had twins born at 33 weeks in January. One was 5lbs 1 oz, the other 2lbs 12oz. Even I was amazed at how well both of them latched on and ate very early on. Most people think you will be "too big" for a preemie, but it worked(and still is) for me! And congrats to a very cute little boy! He is adorable!

Good for you!! Some moms are so overwhelmed with the thought of having a preemie baby in the NICU that pumping or trying to breastfeed is the last thing on their mind! But breastmilk is very healing and great to build those extra antibodies that a preemie needs! Looks like your preemie is now home (profile pic)! How is he doing now? He looks very healthy and happy!! Congrats!
