The best way to store breast milk even before the baby is born?

I am due soon and my milk has came in what is the best way to store it? How long does it keep? I am a new mom of course lol...any suggestions!?!

While it is true that breastmilk will keep in the freezer for seveal months, I am not sure it is advisable to express while you are still pregnant. I had read that is a way to induce labour. I suppose that would be a bonus if you a close enough to your due date and sick of being pregnant! Maybe you should ask your doctor's advice. Good luck!

I second what Jennifer said. Pumping while ensue contractions from the uterus. You can actually feel these contractions when you breastfeed baby after birth. Talk with your doctor before doing any pumping. Even if you are close to your due date a due date is only an estimate and you could end up with a very sickly baby if you go into labor too soon.

thats what i was going to do when i pump when i do have baby. i was going to buy the bags that you can keep in the freezer

You can buy special bags to put the expressed milk into and if you keep them in a deep freezer its supposed to keep for up to 6months or a normal freezer for 3 months good luck darl you are about to have the adventure of your life lol
