My daughter is 20 months old, is still in her cot/crib and sleeps in a sleepbag. She sleeps on her tummy most of the time and moves around alot.

Just wondering at what age people moved from sleepbags to a doona??

I stopped using as soon as I noticed my daughter had started to pull the covers back over herself when they moved, and was therefore able to tuck herself back in if she got cold, or kick them away if they went over her head. I think this was around the age of 2.

Sorry I don't know what a doona is, is it the same as a duvet or quilt? In which case I have only ever used one in winter, the rest of the time we just use a lightly quilted blanket.

And she's almost 3 now, and still moves around lots, sometimes is ontop of the quilt upside down in bed, but the important thing for me is knowing she chooses to sleep like this and can adjust her blanket and position if she wants to.

Hope this helps!
