I also did fenugreek. You can take capsules or tea. It's all natural and it works. Pump as much as you can!

try to use pumped milk instead of formula the supply went down because the demand went down. breastmilk is easy to store, and it is is no more difficult for caregivers to use than formula. just pump at the same intervals the baby would eat, and the supply will go back up.

When my daughter was 9 months I had to boost my supply again. What I did was drink Mother's Milk Tea several times a day for a couple weeks, and nursed my daughter every 3 hours, morning and night for a few days. She had been down to four nursing sessions a day, and sleeping for 12 hours straight at night. Nursing frequently got it back up really fast. Also, make sure you eat and drink plenty, even more than you think you need. Pumping after every nursing session is good too, because it lets your body know that there is a higher demand. It should only take a few days to a week for you to start making a lot more.

Try this amazing supplement! Its by Motherlove, and its called More Milk Plus. It is the only one that really increased my milk, and of course drinking lots of water. I think you can find it online.

same thing happened to me - I got a prescription for metoclopramide after trying all the basics (extra water, oatmeal, pumping, fenugreek). it was the only thing that made a difference!

I agree with the other 2, good nurtition, lots of water, not soda. Pump or breastfeed at least 8 times a day! You can add some extra pumping for a few days, breastfeed your baby more often if you can. There are also supplements you can take, -- mothers milk tea (weaker) Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle can be used alone or together -- 3 capsules of each 3 times a day! The fenugreek can be found more easily and you know it is working when you smell like maple syrup! Also eating oatmeal can help -- as much as you can eat! Also try to relax and keep the stress down!

Start pumping! The only real way tolup the supply is to up the demand for milk. Have your child breatfeed for every meal possible and then pump when he/she isn't around. you can also pump for 5 minutes after you child nurses. Side benefit - savings on formula and better health for your child!
