I saw in your other post that your baby is 6-7 months. My daughter had trouble adjusting to solids. I had to be extra careful about what I gave her. There are foods that are constipating such as rice cereal, bananas, cooked carrots and apples. Foods that start with a "p" help with BM's (peas, peaches, prunes, plums...). The best thing that I have found for constipation is black beans. They are super healthy for you too. My daughter always has a BM within 24 hours of eating them.

If your child is on baby food you can give him/her prunes (do not recommend a full container) and it may take a few hours to kick in. You can also give prune juice to your babe. You can give prune juice at any age, the younger the child the less juice the better! Hope this helps!

How old is your baby? Is your baby on solids?
