Where do you fit in excercise?

Just curious when excercise is being squeezed in. I'm trying to get out and run but find it impossible most days. I would run early a.m. but I'm so full because my daughter sleeps all night. What are you doing?

i pump and leave my daughter with my mom to make it to the gym, but when i can't do that i do them with her. using her as extra weight for squats, walking lunges and playing peek-a-boo while doing sit-ups. lol i try to be creative. =)

OHHHHH this is a good one!  I feel like an exercise monger becaeu I am always hunting down people as they walk  through the door after work and school ( my oldest daughter) to watch the kids so that I can go to the park and run!  I  try to go out in the afternoon since it is extremely cold right now so that hte baby's are at home and not out in the baad weather. When I know that it is too cold to go outor the weather is really really bad I use my cable On demand function and do some exercise programs ( Pilates or yoga plus an ab workout) to suppliment my outdoor activites ( although I would much rather get out).  If you are doing something on TV you can try to get up a little early and try it as this is not as hard on yourbreasts as running with full boobs ( OUCH!).  So, I guess I just try to get it in when I can and usually I  exercise 5 days a week.  When the weather gets better I can just take them with me to the park, although I do not own a jogging stroller so that will be interesting!  I hope that my rambling helps.

I go for a walk everyday with my little one, and she naps so it is a 2 for 1 deal! You could also try putting her in a bouncy seat next to you and do a tape, she shoudl enjoy just watching you. You could also pump for a little bit to relieve the fullness then go for a run. Good luck!

I have found a couple of great Mom and baby classes in my area. I go to a Mom and Baby aerobics class at a local gym one day a week and then I go to a mom and baby aquafit class twice a week. This is a bit easier now that my baby is 7 months old. I have been going since she was 6 weeks old to the aerobics class and for the last two months to the aquafit class.

I have excercise play with my daughter who is now 3 months. I'll lay on the couch or floor and raise her above me (she is very strong and can hold her head really well), like she's flying she prolly about 9-10 pounds so there's a lil weight for my arms.  I will also sit her up against my thighs (while still on my back with knees up) and do crunches. Avarielle really enjoys when I do that.  Or lay her on her play mat and do "girl" push ups over her.  I'm in Alaska so I'm totally not going outside and running, but this spring I totally plan on taking for a walk in her stroller.
