Why is my baby rejecting my breast,i hardly give him bottles.And i know hes hungry?!

I try latching him on and he cries bc he wants off.hes a month 1/2 old.He eats evry 2 hours.Im just really worried because i dont want him to NOT want my breast,,:(

Heather's comment happened to me too. Nursing strike. Just keep offering it and pump when you are full and it will pass. could be up to a week. he'll eat when hungry. just keep at it and don't let your supply get low. You can also contact the La Leche League if you need guidance.

may be a nursing strike... is he refusing both sides or just one? did you have a spicy or heavily seasoned meal? does he only refuse in certain positions? Any signs of thrush? keep at it. Jason refused one side for a full week, I kept offering it, pumped when I had to, and sudenly it passed - not sure why...

Gas? My baby is 2 months and will cry and shake his head in the middle of a feeding if he needs a burp or it could be acid reflux if he is spitting up a lot after feedings and doesn't like being on his back. Hope its nothing serious :)
