My son is almost 4 months old and I only BF. He drinks every 3 hours. Will he sleep a littel longer if I give him a formula bottel at 10 pm. Can this harm him in anyway.
I want to do what is best for my baby, should I just wait for 6 months till we start with solids will that help for a longer sleep?
I would love some advise

Giving him a formula bottle isn't going to necessarily mean he's going to sleep longer. Neither will solids.

To get him to sleep longer simply takes time. I don't believe in the whole thing that formula fed babies sleep longer as both my daughter was and my son is BF and both have slept through the night since 3-4 weeks old. My daughter now 4 yrs old and my son 4 months old. I doubt solids will help either as they have found cereal/solids do not aid baby in sleeping through the night in any way! It is a myth!
Babies sleep through the night when they are capable of self soothing.
