hi. my son is 14months old and sleeps in a cot in our room as we live with the in laws. we are in the process of making a room for him. as he is still in our room at the minute he wont go to sleep himselfand will only go to sleep on either me or my partner then we put him into bed. does anyone have any tips on how we can stop this when he is in his own room as we want him to put himself to sleep??? any tips welcome thank you xx

START A ROUTINE. MAYBE READ A BOOK, SAY A PRAYER, AND TUCK HIM IN. ADD A NIGHT LIGHT AND YOU CAN START WITH LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN. YOU COULD ALSO MAKE A CHART AND GIVE HIM STICKERS FOR EACH NIGHT HE SLEPT IN ROOM WITHOUT GETTING UP AND REWARD HIM AFTER A WEEK, ETC. GOOD LUCK
