I don't know how fast you want to lose weight but working out in the gym or doing a class of pilates, yoga, or zumba really helps i've been dancing zumba for like 5 months almost everyday i love it im not much of a dancer but its soo fun and i've lost a pretty good amount of weight i get compliments everytime i see family that i haven't seen in a while its great. Also dont eat fast food like mc donalds jack in the box or stuff like that its ok to eat the food you like to make at home just limit the amount cut your meals in half and DO NOT EAT LATE NO LATER THAN 7PM. Its also ok to go out to restraunts like olive garden, cheese cake factory, and Bjs once in a while dont hurt as long as you dedicate time to working out. I hope i've been somewhat some help its been working for me i hope it can work for you too :)

Hi.
Are you willing to count your own calories??
I didnt to WW or JC, but my own calorie counting at home.
I lost 8 kgs or 17.6lbs over 4 months a year before getting pregnant.
I have already lost 6kgs or 13.2lbs in 3 months, with another 7kgs or 15.4lbs to my goal weight.

www.calorieking.com.au (as I am in Australia) has a book each year with up to date food types you buy from the shops. and you can write your food down in a half A5 booklet each day.

At the time their online food diary must have cost money cos I didnt join it back then.
Now it's freee!!!
And they also have a software you can buy to use on your computer without going online.
But I am not sure if this free food diary would help you as it has brands sold in Australia.
You could give it a go and see.... it's free.
There may be an american version of the same book and website or you may find one owned and run by someone else.

the messages below are good value. portion size. more smaller meals each day. but be careful to make sure they are smaller meals. good food choice. and I like to have "little" rewards too. and it sounds like you are active with your kid, but maybe see if a few walks a week might help too, where your heart rate is raised.

(some of these girls have done amazing jobs losing their weight!!
I dont know if they are breastfeeding or not, which helps you to lose weight.
But I didnt want to lose weight too quickly and jeopardise my boob milk.
So I am happy losing half a kg or one pound a week. It seems slow. But it's better for you. I suppose one kilo or 2 pounds is still reasonable.
It's just anyone who can lose weight as fast as those on the biggest loser look funny when their skin has not had time to catch up and get to a smaller diameter especially on thier arms which you see easily, and also on their torsos which are usually covered by clothing... but can still be an emotional problem for the person to deal with.)

Sorry if I blabbed on a bit.
Good Luck!!

Weightwatchers is honestly the best way to go i think. I'm not finding it too difficult cos you can still have treats and stuff. I have a 12 week old and have lost 25lbs in the last 9 weeks. I weigh less now than when I got pregnant. Good luck with it :)

You can try walking everyday and maybe have someone to watch your son and jog?

I've heard that Weight Watchers is amazing but I have never personally tried it. I have a 10 month old son and actually weigh less now than when I got pregnant. What has worked for me is 2mi walks with my son and dog three times a week, pilates 3 days a week and no over indulgence. As far as eating goes, I havent really given anything up I just eat it only small amounts. I also eat little meals because I was finding that I would only eat a few larger meals a day and was thin (as in I didnt weigh much didnt have a lot of excess fat) but I was still looking poochy. I think my stomach was getting full and stretching the muscle out. Also the thing that really kick started the weightloss was water. I gave up ALL other beverages except water. I lost about 15lb in 2 1/2 weeks. So I would recommend, exercise, smaller more frequent meals and LOTS of water. (if your not drinking milk and breast feeding be sure to take a supplement of calcium!)

Hope that help and good luck

I dont know about fast but at a healthy rate. Jenny Craig or Weight Watcher's both work great. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. If you dont like just plain water, add some lemon juice or lemon or both and some splenda. If you cant afford Weight Watcher's or Jenny Craig just eat small portions and try to eat foods that have alot of fiber, like oatmeal, wheat bread, homemade pinto beans in a crockpot are really good for you. If you see the skinny cow icecream sandwiches(like at Walmart) those are only 2 pts(weight watchers)The fiber one granola bars are real high in fiber.Fiber one cereal. Your body will use that fiber instead of packing on extra pounds. But you still have to eat small portions. Thats pretty much what I try to do and it works great. I've tried Jenny Craig and it works but their food is so expensive at least for our household. I'm doing weight watcher's and I like it better because you can find their food at the grocery stores and its cheaper that way. So I hope this helps. God Bless!
