I'm new into Buddhism and am curious how other Buddhists spent the holidays, and incorperated Buddhism

This isn't really to do with Buddhism, but we celebrated solstice. We cooked a meal together the night before and then watched the sun rise together the next morning. I used the time to talk about interconnectedness, cycles and it is also a good time to reflect on impermanence.

Anything during the holidays that isn't centered around hustle bustle and presents I think is great. It's hard to stay in the moment during the holidays and that's really unfortunate because it can be such a special time
