OMG YES!!! I got home from the hospital and that evening I was afraid I was going to have to go back because my legs swelled so much they were rock hard. My husband went online and we learned that it is common. You are swelling because of all the fluid they pump into you before, during and after c-section. Depending on your body it can take up to 2 weeks for all that extra fluid to disappear. I weighed myself the first day home, I weighed 10 pound more then when I checked in. Over the next 3 days I lost the bulk of the water weight, I whooping 40 pounds. I then took another week before the last of the fluid disappeared.
Since you prolly aren't moving around much yet, try keeping your feet elevated to help reduce pressure on your ankles.
