I also forgot to say it's like i get spasm of it. it comes and it goes but when it comes it's really painful and it seem that no matter how i sit, lie and position myself it would not go away.
but i do feel that after lying down for a couple of hrs it's ok. it takes that long to dull the pain. Has anyone any suggestion i would be grateful.

With my first i had a natural birth my third one i had to have an emergency C-section with two shots of epidural. Now two years down the line i am suffering with sever back again. really painful.
It's like i am back to the time i was in labour. roughly around this time also. Ahhh it's really uncomfortable and painful. I can't sit straight i can't lie down and now its becoming a pain.
I hate going to doctor as they are the worse. I know where the pain come from its from the exact same spot as the injection and no doubt about it.
My sister inlaw as the same problem so i know that i am not imagining it. The pain is so acute at present, that i feel like killing someone for it. Ahhh i feel so much pressure and pain there.

I've had 3 c-sections. The first was a general, the second an epidural, and the last a spinal. I also had back pain for 2 years following the epidural.
After 2 years of that back pain I decided to do something. I had accupunture and later started group Pilates classes at the gym. I can't say which one did the trick. Perhaps it was both. However on my first visit with my accupunturist he put his finger right on the spot and asked if I had an epidural.

I had my surgery only ten months ago, but I have definitely found that especially if I stand or sit in one position for a short while my back gets exceptionally sore...

MIranda would you say your spinal block was much better than your epidural??? I had real bad luck with my last epidural, it blocked no pain for me. So i've been trying to figure out if a spinal would benefit me better IF I have a third child.

Yes I have back pain b/c of my epidural, and my last c-section was almost 2 yrs ago. I can't handle anyone touching my spine, it makes me sick to even touch it myself.

I had 3 previous epiduals and when it cam time for my fourth I had developed scar tissue so they had to redo the epidural, on my 5th delivery I had a spinal block which was the best thing ever. But I do still have stiffness on my back at the original epidural site.

yes! i have to take prescription meds because some times the pain is unbearable. its only enough to take the edge off. i refuse to walk around like a zombie. i also had a terrible anesthesiologist.
