I had a C-Section just over 7 months ago and it feels fine now. It still is a bit numb but I've heard that that's normal. However, every once in awhile I still get really bad pains on my scar. It's usually on the right side and it can last a day or 2. Has this happened to anyone else and is this normal?

Yeah I get random pains, I had my 2nd c-section 6 months ago with my 1st on,y being 14 months before that. When I had my 2nd the Dr said I had adhesions (bits sticking to other bits inside). Everyone heals differently but if you think that they cut through layer apon layer of skin, tissue and nerves, it will probably never feel as it did before you had it. If in doubt, tell ur Doc, get it checked out. xoxox

hey I had my second csection 8 months ago and I still get pain sometimes. I asked my ob and he said it was fine you may be healed on the outside but the inside takes a little longer. I was told it could take a yr or longer to completely heal. I was also told that bc they tie you on the inside when they are done that it could just be that they tied it a little tight. Best advice is when you get these pains just take it easy and what ever eases the pain do. ( thats what the doctor told me ) if its pain that you cant handle I would call your ob and ask them.

I had my c-section 4 months ago and I still get random pains from it and once in a while a cramp that feels like a contraction.... I was told its normal because its something new to your body.... but if it keeps bugging you I would call my doctor

I don't know. I have the same question. Except mine started bleeding yesterday. It's been four months and was completely healed. Now it's not...
