in my opinion, yes. It's not all that hard to lose weight, but it is hard to lose the "flap" of fat that is left over from your abdomen muscles being cut into.

I had my first c section 5 years ago and just had my second 3 months ago. It took me about a year to loose the weight with my first but I still had loose skin on my stomach. I didn't gain as much weight this time so I only have about 10lbs to go but I don't think the loose skin will go away without a tummy tuck.

I lost everything within two weeks. I gained a total of 34#, but lost 3# during the last two weeks of pregnancy. Baby was 10-12, so most of it was literally baby weight. :) I'm at 6 weeks pp and still maintaining. I'm not all that optimistic about my belly looking like I never had a baby, even if the rest of me does.

I was pretty overweight before, but I lost all my baby weight within a week. I only gained 25 pounds. I went into the hospital weighing 250 and weight 230 at my first pp apointment. After that, the weight just slid off as I nursed and I also started eating better and exercizing more. I'm still overweight, but having a c-section didn't make it any worse.

I lost all my baby weight and 13 pounds more, but my belly bump is still there and I have a hard time fitting in my pre-pregnancy clothing. I have just started feeling like I can do exercises, so hope that this will help!

With my first daughter I lost my pregnancy weight gain (17lbs) plus 10 more lbs within the first 2 weeks following c-section. I'll find out if this happens with my second daughter in July.

For me it seemed to be harder after I had a c-section. With my first I had him naturally and seemed to lose everything before i could even start working out, but with my second it seems like its taking forever! Also it seems like I gain weight easier because I took like 2 weeks off and was back where I started...but I've also noticed that I notice it more because of my scar so it feels like it makes it harder for my stomach to be flat like it was before.... so I think there's a lot of different factors, not to mention you're always harder on yourself than anyone else too.

With first one I didn' lose a pound. With second one I lost everything within a year and now that y son is 2.5 I have lost another 10 lb, so it depends on the person.

I think it depends on the person. I lost everything plus 15 pounds within 3 months of having my first c section, but this time my son is nearly 3 months and I still have 9 pounds to go. I got back to my prepregnancy weight from before my first child and just stopped losing this time. I am really having trouble working at getting it off.

It took forever for my belly to seem at all normal again. I'm not really sure how that goes for someone who didn't have a c-section. But it took about a year and a half for me. It also took forever to regain my lower abdominal strength. I'm just now able to do my former belly exercises. ;/
